But never mind ... we wanted to leave early anyway. So we took each morning procedure of bladder care, lotion and connect legs in attack and broke with Annette on already at 7.00 clock. Ralf and Marlies went this morning ... pretty bad if it was the fact that Ralf has run yesterday found 15 km with Fli-flops, to air his feet, you do not know. In view of the rainy weather, we changed our plans from an early age and not infiltrated the originally planned 30 km to Najera, but contented ourselves with 21 km in the Bergdoerfchen Ventosa. Over a long shopping street with a windchill 60 bank branches we left Logrono, reaching a beautiful recreation area with a large lake, on which a number of carp anglers tried with huge hooks and half a roll of fish. Clear that we had to stop there for a moment. We left the park again and climb a challenging hill to Navarrete. This hill you know possibly from books or documentaries about the Camino de Santiago. In the chain-link fence between the road and Camino pilgrims have woven thousands wooden crosses. Overall, I estimate the number sure to well over 100,000 pieces. We also completed this collection back to our own crosses and then migrated to Navarrete. There, many pilgrims went limp due to the weather and let go with taxis to Najera. An absolute NO-GO! Only diseases justifying ... Luxury taxis pilgrims tststs ... ... we visited in any case the Church of Navarrete impressive with its imposing high altar and took us through vineyards and olive groves after Ventosa, where we arrived around 14.00 clock already. The hostel is among the best on the Camino. Tasteful furnishings, new beds and double rooms! A dream. This fireplace and classical music. Herrlich. And all because ... Ralf and Marlies can not be addressed, but to present ... Frank and Jacqueline, Annette and many others. A very neat and clean kitchen invited to cook together and we looked up everything offered in-house shop and somehow fit with rice. The result was a vegetable mix that looked just as adventurous and smell, but tasted really delicious. After dinner we sat together in the lounge or the wine and chatted about everything under the sun ... so long that we would have forgotten the clock at 22.00 incipient sleep. When talkin forget the time. Simply beautiful ...
